  • Sell and service Coloplast implantable and single-use surgical devices to Urology customers
  • Engage targeted accounts and develop and execute strategic territory plans
  • Analyze sales and marketing data to identify territory opportunities
  • Understand clinical, financial, and key decision makers and their issues and opportunities
  • Advance the sales process and achieve or exceed business and marketing targets for product lines
  • Conduct cost/benefit analysis using financial business models
  • Comply with applicable laws, regulations, Advamed Code of Ethics, and company policies
  • Develop relationships and teach peers across product categories
  • Retain and grow current customer business and formulate sales strategies
  • Develop long-term relationships that increase product use within target accounts
  • Maintain cross-functional relationships and leverage organizational synergies
  • Maintain clinical and technical product knowledge and educate peers
  • Monitor competitive activity, products, market trends, and industry information
  • Attend industry training, meetings, and events for business development
  • Interact with healthcare professionals including surgeons, nurses, doctors, technicians, procurement, inventory control, and administrative staff
  • Attend procedures and surgeries to assist healthcare professionals with product questions while following operating room protocols
  • Organize information using CRM or related tools
  • Maintain records and handle sales reporting, forecasting, inventory, and expense management
  • Perform other assigned duties

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree highly preferred with 3+ years of med tech sales experience, OR 2 year associates degree with 5+ years of med tech sales experience, OR 7+ years of med tech sales experience
  • Minimum 5 years successful medical sales experience selling to physicians
  • Urology background and implantable device sales preferred
  • Proficient in relationship and consultative selling skills
  • Proficient in interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Proficient in negotiating, analytical, oral and written communication skills
  • High attention to detail and follow through
  • Exceptional listening skills
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Ability to work independently, high initiative, and results orientation
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Willingness to travel overnight 30–50%
  • Effective time and territory management skills and administrative capabilities

  • Completion of healthcare facility credentialing requirements
  • Ability to meet healthcare customers in person at their facilities or healthcare systems
