  • Engage targeted accounts and develop and execute plans to achieve territory sales objectives

  • Understand customer environments, decision-makers, issues, challenges, and opportunities
  • Advance sales processes and achieve or exceed annual contract commitments
  • Conduct cost/benefit analyses
  • Use consultative selling to uncover customer strategies and present financial and clinical value propositions
  • Plan daily call routines and account coverage
  • Use GPO and IDN contracts, marketing directives, sales reports, and educational materials to maximize sales growth
  • Monitor competitive activity and sales volume in targeted accounts
  • Retain and grow current-customer business by identifying opportunities and formulating sales strategies
  • Develop and maintain long-term customer relationships
  • Develop productive cross-functional relationships
  • Maintain clinical and technical product knowledge and awareness of market trends
  • Attend industry meetings and events for business development as required
  • Organize and manage information in the CRM tool

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree highly preferred with 3+ years of med tech sales experience, OR 2-year associate degree with 5+ years of med tech sales experience, OR 7+ years of med tech sales experience
  • Willingness and ability to travel, including overnight, 25%–50%
  • Completion of credentialing requirements for access to healthcare facilities or systems
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Compliance with applicable laws and regulations, the Advamed Code of Ethics on Interactions with Healthcare Professionals, and company policies
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • High attention to detail and follow-through
  • Exceptional listening skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Effective time and territory management skills
  • Administrative capabilities
  • Effective written and oral communication capabilities
