  • Drive market share and sales growth for Coloplast’s Ostomy Care portfolio
  • Target acute care customers by selling and servicing Ostomy Care products
  • Engage targeted accounts and develop and execute plans to achieve territory sales objectives
  • Analyze sales and marketing data to identify opportunities
  • Understand customer environments, decision makers, issues, challenges, and opportunities
  • Advance the sales process and achieve or exceed annual contract commitments
  • Conduct cost/benefit analyses using financial business models
  • Use consultative selling to uncover customer strategy and present clinical and financial value
  • Plan daily call routines and coverage of key accounts
  • Use GPO and IDN contracts, marketing directives, sales reports, and educational materials to maximize sales growth
  • Monitor competitive activity and sales volume
  • Retain and grow current customer business by identifying opportunities and formulating sales strategies
  • Develop long-term customer relationships and increase product use within target accounts
  • Build cross-functional relationships and leverage organizational synergies
  • Maintain clinical, technical, competitive, market, and industry knowledge
  • Attend industry meetings and events for business development as required
  • Organize information in the CRM tool
  • Maintain records and complete sales reporting and expense management

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree highly preferred with 3+ years of med tech sales experience, OR 2-year associate degree with 5+ years of med tech sales experience, OR 7+ years of med tech sales experience
  • Willingness and ability to travel, including overnight, 25%–50%
  • Completion of credentialing requirements meeting each healthcare facility or system’s access requirements
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Compliance with applicable laws and regulations, the Advamed Code of Ethics, and company policies
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • High attention to detail and follow-through
  • Exceptional listening skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Effective time and territory management skills
  • Administrative capabilities
  • Effective written and oral communication capabilities
