  • Sell and service Coloplast’s implantable and single-use surgical devices to Urology customers
  • Engage targeted accounts and develop and execute strategic territory plans
  • Analyze sales and marketing data to identify opportunities
  • Understand clinical, financial, and key decision makers and customer needs
  • Advance the sales process across targeted accounts
  • Conduct cost/benefit analysis
  • Demonstrate consultative selling and present value propositions
  • Plan daily call routines and account penetration
  • Use marketing tools, sales reports, education materials, and national contracts to maximize sales growth
  • Monitor competitive activity and sales volume
  • Retain and grow business within the current customer base
  • Develop long-term customer relationships and cross-functional relationships
  • Educate peers on product categories
  • Attend industry training, meetings, and events
  • Interact with healthcare professionals including surgeons, nurses, doctors, technicians, procurement, inventory control, and administrative staff
  • Attend procedures and surgeries as requested or required while following operating room protocols
  • Organize information using CRM or related tools
  • Maintain sales reports, forecasts, inventory, and expense records
  • Comply with laws, regulations, the Advamed Code of Ethics, and company policies
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree highly preferred with 3+ years of med tech sales experience, OR 2 year associates degree with 5+ years of med tech sales experience, OR 7+ years of med tech sales experience
  • Minimum 5 years successful medical sales experience selling to physicians
  • Urology background and implantable device sales preferred
  • Proficient in relationship and consultative selling skills
  • Proficient in interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Proficient in negotiating, analytical, oral and written communication skills
  • High attention to detail and follow through
  • Exceptional listening skills
  • Ability to work independently, high initiative, and results orientation
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Willingness to travel overnight (30-50%)
  • Effective time and territory management skills and administrative capabilities
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Completion of credentialing requirements for healthcare facility or system access
  • Ability to meet healthcare customers in person at their facilities or healthcare systems
