About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead projects from initial idea through final production, including brainstorming, concept design, prototyping, testing, and industrialization
Manage overall project planning and project-team planning
Conduct financial follow-up
Establish and maintain project plans
Serve as the customer point of contact and translate customer needs into optimal innovative products
Manage project resources, including colleagues, partners, suppliers, and freelancers
Conduct conformity testing of concepts, prototypes, and pilot production against internal and external standards
Promote Comate’s values and standards
Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team of engineers and designers to develop innovative automated machines and production equipment

Requirements

What you’ll need

Higher degree in Engineering (Mechanics, Mechatronics or similar)
A few years of experience as a project engineer or project manager in technical, interdisciplinary product development
Experience preferably in a design/engineering agency or similar innovation-driven environment
Technical background in mechanical or mechatronics engineering
Experience building/designing machinery, PLC programming, vision software, or motion control
Familiarity with CE marking requirements
Strong analytical skills
Strong project and people management skills
Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
Other languages are a plus
Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing plans
Ability to handle pressure
