About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide post-sales, on-site engineering support within the customer’s network environment
- Act as a trusted technical advisor and Juniper subject matter expert
- Support the design, implementation, operation, optimisation, troubleshooting, and ongoing evolution of the customer’s Service Provider network
- Provide on-site technical support for Juniper Service Provider network environments
- Support network design, implementation, migration, upgrades, and optimisation activities
- Troubleshoot complex routing, MPLS, VPN, and platform-related issues through to resolution
- Manage and track JTAC cases, Product Reports (PRs), software fixes, and RMAs
- Test and validate new designs, software releases, patches, and features before production deployment
- Develop implementation plans, Methods of Procedure (MOPs), rollback plans, and technical documentation
- Support Juniper MX, PTX, and other relevant routing and switching platforms
- Conduct technical workshops, knowledge transfer, and training for customer engineering teams
- Perform configuration reviews, network health checks, risk assessments, and best-practice recommendations
- Produce regular technical reports, status updates, and documentation
Requirements
What you’ll need- Deep expertise in Juniper products and technologies deployed within the customer environment
- Expertise in Service Provider routing, MPLS, MPLS VPNs, L3VPN, L2VPN, VPLS, BGP, IS-IS/OSPF, and related technologies
- Experience supporting Juniper Service Provider network environments
- Experience with network design, implementation, migration, upgrades, and optimisation
- Ability to troubleshoot complex routing, MPLS, VPN, and platform-related issues through to resolution
- Experience managing JTAC cases, Product Reports (PRs), software fixes, and RMAs
- Experience testing and validating designs, software releases, patches, and features
- Ability to develop implementation plans, Methods of Procedure (MOPs), rollback plans, and technical documentation
- Experience with Juniper MX, PTX, and other relevant routing and switching platforms
- Experience developing network automation scripts and operational tooling using Python, Ansible, or similar technologies
- Ability to conduct technical workshops, knowledge transfer, and training
- Experience performing configuration reviews, network health checks, and risk assessments
