About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage employee lifecycle processes, including offer letters, contracts, pre-employment screening, right-to-work checks, inductions, probationary confirmations, contract amendments, and offboarding
Manage France payroll and support global and EMEA-wide payroll operations
Administer employee benefits and liaise with third-party payroll providers
Ensure regional legislative compliance
Maintain accurate employee data in HiBOB HRIS
Manage joiner, mover, and leaver processes
Keep the HR Drive compliant and communicate process updates to Finance and providers
Support the Global Talent and Development team with regional recruitment
Support the French team with labor law compliance
Manage CSE union relations, including negotiations and drafting official minutes
Foster positive employee relations
Ensure compliance with French occupational health and safety regulations
Manage occupational health visits, maintain the DUERP, track workplace accidents, and support safety initiatives with the CSE
Manage the HR Inbox and escalate complex issues or process exceptions
Prepare management reports
Collaborate on strategic HR projects, including system implementations, workflow creation, and process mapping
Support the People team in Lyon and Nice

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proven track record in a matrix organisation and HR Shared Services Centre
Solid hands-on experience in HR administration
Experience supporting EMEA payroll management
Experience with complex HRIS
International experience is essential
Solid background in managing CSE relations for fewer than 50 employees
Proven experience in negotiation and drafting formal CSE meeting minutes
Strong data skills and ability to analyse employee survey results
Exceptional empathy and strong relational intelligence
Excellent communication skills for sensitive employee matters and union interactions
Reliable accuracy, careful attention to detail, and strong responsibility toward compliance
Fluent in French at native level
Highly proficient in English
