About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design and build scalable, cloud-native data pipelines for financial crime monitoring, reporting and insights
- Transform complex data into trusted products using AWS, Snowflake and modern data platforms
- Deliver secure, resilient and high-quality data solutions
- Collaborate with engineers, product teams and business stakeholders
- Support critical business decisions and customer outcomes
- Contribute to the evolution of the cloud data ecosystem
- Help shape data-driven financial crime reporting and insights across the bank
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience designing and building cloud-based data pipelines using AWS technologies such as Glue, Redshift, EMR, Athena, S3 and Iceberg
- Strong data engineering expertise across Python, SQL and Spark
- Experience with Snowflake or demonstrable knowledge of modern cloud data warehouse platforms
- Experience delivering data solutions within Agile engineering environments
- Experience collaborating with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable data solutions
- Knowledge of data governance, security and modern data management practices
- Experience with CI/CD practices, automation and cloud-native delivery approaches
- Passion for building next-generation data platforms and creating high-quality outcomes
