Key responsibilities & impact

Design, build, run, and evolve tools, infrastructure, templates, and capabilities used by engineers to deliver business value
Write code that automates infrastructure and environment operations
Manage the Kubernetes-based Platform as a Service on AWS
Collaborate with customer-facing product engineers to design, build, and run platforms
Maintain reliable, secure, and scalable underlying infrastructure
Identify and automate self-service platform opportunities
Evolve platforms by adopting new technology and improving engineering efficiency
Create standardized tooling for deploying and running applications with best practices
Automate deployment and operations using Python and Go
Participate in cross-group activities to build engineering capability and technology solutions

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience as Software Engineer, DevOps, SRE, or System Engineer in a cloud environment
Experience with container technology: Docker and Kubernetes/EKS, including cluster management, monitoring, autoscaling, and networking
Experience programming in Golang or Python
Experience with Infrastructure as Code: CloudFormation, Terraform, or Pulumi
Experience with CI/CD: CodeBuild, GitHub Actions, or GitOps/ArgoCD
Understanding of DevOps/SRE best practices, including logging, monitoring, and security
Familiarity with the Full Cycle model, involving Design, Build, Challenge, and Run
Passion for designing, developing, deploying, and running high-quality software and platforms
Ability to educate, communicate, and positively influence stakeholder groups, including high-level executives
