Guide a squad delivering reliable, secure, and cost-effective end-user computing solutions
Balance hands-on engineering with high-level design and mentoring
Shape the roadmap and strategy for squad products and services
Provide technical leadership and mentorship across the team
Demonstrate exemplary code, design, testing, and documentation
Design and implement platform services and support tools
Lead transitions from current to target architectures
Build CI/CD pipelines and automation tooling

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experienced software engineer capable of senior technical leadership
Exposure to full lifecycle platform engineering across Windows and macOS environments
Backend development in .NET, Java, or TypeScript
Scripting with PowerShell, Bash, or Python
CI/CD and automation tooling, including GitHub and GitHub Actions
DevSecOps practices
Microservices, RESTful APIs, and domain-driven design
AWS
Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible
Containerisation with Docker and Kubernetes
Identity and access management platforms such as Microsoft Active Directory, Entra ID, SailPoint IIQ, CyberArk, or Ping
Ability to provide technical leadership, mentoring, coaching, and feedback
Ability to manage multiple priorities across squads and geographies
Ability to integrate risk, security, and resilience principles into design and delivery decisions
