Partner with Product and Design to create secure, scalable home lending experiences
Lead complex initiatives and influence architecture and engineering strategy across Home Buying
Champion modern engineering practices, automation and AI-assisted development
Mentor engineers and drive a build-it, run-it, improve-it culture
Design and operate secure, cloud-native, API-driven platforms supporting home loan applications through approval
Improve customer experience, automation, decisioning and platform modernisation
Drive continuous delivery, reliability, performance, security and operational excellence

Requirements

What you’ll need

Deep full-stack and/or backend engineering expertise
Technical credibility to shape architecture and lead delivery of secure, resilient, highly scalable customer platforms
Hands-on technical leadership, including writing production code and guiding a small team of engineers
End-to-end ownership from discovery and architecture through production and continuous improvement
Experience with production reliability, observability, performance, security and operational excellence
Strong track record designing, building and operating distributed systems, APIs and cloud-native platforms at scale
Experience with automated testing, CI/CD, DevOps, cloud engineering and production observability
Staff-level influence in engineering strategy, architecture, technical standards and patterns
Experience mentoring engineers and uplifting engineering capability
Ability to make pragmatic technical trade-offs across customer outcomes, delivery speed, quality, security, risk, cost and sustainability
Passion for AI-powered engineering, automation and developer experience
