About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise UNIX/Linux systems
  • Monitor system performance, security, and availability
  • Evaluate and implement new technologies and infrastructure solutions
  • Support system upgrades, disaster recovery planning, and capacity management
  • Partner with internal IT teams, vendors, and customers to resolve complex technical issues
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, policies, and procedures
  • Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of experience supporting enterprise-scale UNIX/Linux environments
  • Experience with system administration, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and infrastructure support
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Participation in an on-call rotation is required
