About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design and implement complex integrations between Commure’s platform and third-party healthcare systems, EHRs, and insurance providers
  • Use LLM technology to automate reverse-engineering of electronic health records
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and healthcare teams to gather requirements, define technical approaches, and prioritize work
  • Propose and implement improvements to integration-platform architecture, tools, and technologies
  • Own integration workflows from design and development through deployment and post-launch monitoring
  • Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and troubleshoot production integration issues
  • Improve integration reliability and protect sensitive healthcare data
  • Implement best practices for testing, error handling, version control, and continuous integration
  • Collaborate with DevOps and QA teams on monitoring and alerting systems
  • Track healthcare technology and integration trends and apply innovations
  • Participate in sprint planning, retrospectives, and agile development cycles

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent extensive experience
  • 2+ years of professional software development industry experience
  • Proficiency in frontend languages such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
  • Proficiency in backend languages such as Python, Go, or C++
  • Experience with Git, GCP/AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, relational and non-relational databases, and monitoring/alerting tools
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing end-to-end solutions and making successful architectural decisions
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Ability to comply with healthcare security and compliance standards including HIPAA, HL7, and FHIR
  • Comfortable coming into the Mountain View, CA office at minimum 3 days a week
  • Must address U.S. work sponsorship requirements
