About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as the day-to-day contracts partner and liaison to the business, focusing on EMEA sales teams and professional services teams
Review and negotiate software license agreements, SaaS contracts, service provider agreements, and support service agreements
Provide counsel on data privacy, cybersecurity, sovereignty laws, and other data-related legislation
Train the sales community on Commvault’s standard agreements
Support the Deal Desk/Bid Desk team with tender offers and special licensing provisions
Facilitate cross-team decision-making among Legal, Finance, Deal Desk, and other internal teams
Support the Professional Services team with Statements of Work and other service-related agreements
Assist with corporate governance in EMEA and APAC

Requirements

What you’ll need

At least 3 to 5 years of post-educational professional experience in a similar Contract/Legal professional role within an international commercial in-house environment
Legal or commercial degree as educational background
Excellent negotiation skills, with emphasis on software licensing and SaaS contracts
Team player with good client management skills and a track record of success operating in a fast-paced environment and client facing role
Comfortable communicating on all company levels
Self-motivated with the ability to work remotely under limited supervision
Pro-active communicator with problem solving mindset
