About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Prepare executive-level ministry and departmental reports and presentations
  • Provide actionable insights, explain performance drivers and recommend actions
  • Report on financial results, operational metrics, staffing, compensation, capital expenditures and ad-hoc needs
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency and integrity of financial reporting and related data
  • Lead annual budgeting and mid-year forecasting for assigned business functions
  • Serve as primary finance business partner to assigned department leaders
  • Provide financial insight and decision support while promoting financial stewardship and accountability
  • Collaborate with the Financial Systems Team on Adaptive Planning and Office Connect data, reporting, validation, testing and process improvements
  • Research economic trends and apply findings to planning projects and processes
  • Develop, publish and enhance reporting solutions
  • Conduct financial analysis projects and create what-if financial models
  • Evaluate capital expenditures, depreciation, proposals, investment opportunities, rates of return, operating records and financial statements
  • Coach other financial analysts and related staff on technical finance issues

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration or related field
  • 7+ years of relevant finance experience in a corporate environment
  • Experience preparing executive-level reports, dashboards and presentations translating complex financial and operational data into actionable insights for senior leadership
  • Experience serving as a financial business partner through budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, performance analysis and strategic planning
  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects and stakeholders while managing competing priorities
  • Strong systems acumen with planning and reporting tools
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy, integrity and quality while managing complex datasets and reporting requirements
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with Adaptive Planning and Office Connect is preferred
  • Maintain a personal relationship with Jesus Christ
  • Consistent witness for Jesus Christ and Christ-like attitude
  • Commitment to child protection expectations, Code of Conduct and reporting processes
