About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Strategically drive growth and profitability of the Advanced Resins product category
  • Collaborate with Product Management, Commercial and Technical Teams, Operations, Procurement, and Suppliers
  • Develop and execute an annual business development plan
  • Develop market plans and tactics supporting Product Marketing
  • Recommend pricing strategies to enhance profitability and increase market share
  • Research and monitor product category trends and competitive activity
  • Develop and strengthen key Customer and Supplier relationships
  • Identify and capitalize on supplier product, strategy, and technical capabilities
  • Serve as the primary technical and commercial resource for Advanced Resins
  • Coordinate strategic Customer and Supplier interactions with Sales Managers
  • Visit key Customers to provide technical support and understand Customer needs
  • Provide field personnel with technical product and processing information
  • Develop and facilitate technical training, seminars, and supporting tools
  • Participate in industry trade shows and trade associations
  • Evaluate product line overlap and assist with product category rationalization
  • Identify opportunities to move aged inventory
  • Leverage product purchases, identify COGS reduction opportunities, and optimize logistics
  • Transform market data into useful information for internal and external stakeholders

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a technical, business development, B2B marketing, Composites Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related role focused on Advanced Resins
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Composites or Chemical Engineering, or a related field
  • Technical expertise in Advanced Resins, including pDCPD, Epoxy, Curatives, Urethanes, and related technologies
  • Ability to provide effective technical training
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute business development strategies that support customer needs and drive growth
  • Ability to build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, OEMs, and cross-functional internal teams
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to analyze market and business data and translate findings into recommendations
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel
  • Ability to learn internal systems such as Incorta and SAP
  • Successful completion of a drug screen and background check
  • Candidates should reside within proximity to one of the locations identified in the job posting
  • Ability to travel up to 70%, including local, national, and international travel
