About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and test customer operating system configurations
- Manage new hardware certifications
- Introduce and assess new vendor-level images
- Produce security compliance reporting and configuration using CIS Level 1
- Perform end-to-end hardware testing in a controlled, secure build environment in Hatfield and onsite
- Scope, quote and implement non-standard project work (TRS)
- Collaborate with Service Management, customer representatives and technical service lines
- Perform project/service planning, reporting, escalation and stakeholder management
- Liaise with and support the Evergreen team for ongoing Evergreen roll-outs
- Help drive project work, service improvement, automation and service maturity
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven experience in Endpoint management, Cloud technologies and Virtualisation
- Strong Hardware integration skills
- Flexible and proactive approach to challenges and workload
- Time management and workload planning skills
- More than 3 years’ experience installing and configuring Microsoft Windows operating systems, including Windows 10, Windows 11, IOT and LTSC
- More than 3 years’ experience installing and configuring Windows Server 2019, 2022 and 2025
- Experience with Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT), SCCM or MECM / 2012
- Azure training or certification
- Experience with Intune
- Desirable: Windows 365
- Desirable: Autopilot
- Desirable: Hyper-V / virtualisation technologies
- Desirable: Microsoft Visual Basic Script, PowerShell, SQL queries and WMI
- Desirable: Installation and configuration of key business applications such as Microsoft Office and Outlook
- Desirable: Operating System Registry Hives and MSI technologies
- Desirable: DevOps and Cloud Technologies
