About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Prepare quotes in line with customer requirements and agreed margins
Examine customer orders for validity, products, quantities, pricing agreements, and requirements
Maintain customer catalogue rules and pricing overlays
Liaise with internal service providers regarding sales order processing and international ordering protocols
Enter sales orders accurately and promptly according to customer SLAs and requirements
Select appropriate delivery, configuration, and Technology Sourcing Operations services
Validate purchase orders, source of supply, rebates, pricing, availability, lead times, fraud checks, inventory, contracts, and customer requirements
Liaise with Buyers and Purchasing Operations on order entry, product constraints, due dates, and non-standard orders
Liaise with the material master team regarding required materials
Resolve blocked orders involving margins, credit limits, export control, and related issues
Process returns according to internal processes and SLAs
Process credits and re-bills promptly in SAP
Act as contact point for customers, suppliers, and internal departments
Manage customer stock and work with Partner Management, Configuration, and Logistics to optimise stock levels
Support standard customer reporting
Resolve customer, account, order, and invoice queries
Participate in process and customer optimisation projects
Maintain systems-awareness training
Maintain understanding of global export regulations for compliance and tax handling
Develop collaborative customer and account-management relationships
Own the customer experience in Technology Sourcing Operations

Limited experience in Sales Operations and Customer Service roles
Experience handling simple, straightforward customer orders

Basic knowledge of project coordination
Ability to work in a team
Some knowledge of major IT manufacturers and their products
Strong communication skills with good command of spoken and written English
Willingness to travel
Basic knowledge of SAP (SD Module), Order Engine / Salesforce, MS Office, and E-Business Tools
