About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own a defined category within the partner management organization
  • Lead the category team and manage personnel responsibilities
  • Manage commercial partner relationships with manufacturers, distributors, and service partners
  • Delegate tasks, set targets, conduct performance reviews, and develop employees
  • Coach and mentor team members and ensure professional qualification
  • Develop a high-performance team using on-site presence, telecommunications, and distance leadership methods
  • Drive commercial contribution growth and maximize category profitability
  • Negotiate partner agreements and programs
  • Coordinate with category managers and Expert Services across the Computacenter Group
  • Position the team as a knowledge resource for sales teams and partner contacts
  • Develop partner segmentation, strategy, business plans, and commercial instruments such as PVC and War chest
  • Maintain the category opportunity pipeline and forecast sales, Soft$ and MDF income
  • Manage category P&L
  • Support Strategic Alliance Sales Directors with complex commercial negotiations
  • Manage stock valuation and inventory
  • Support buyers and ensure end-to-end supply chain performance
  • Manage inbound delivery disputes and act as an escalation point
  • Monitor workflow and due-date management to deliver operational excellence

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • University degree or equivalent qualification
  • More than 3 years of professional experience or professional specialization
  • Good knowledge of business administration
  • Strategic and analytical thinking
  • High problem-solving competence
  • Very good communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to lead and motivate teams, including across regional borders
  • Ability to work constructively and result-oriented with team members and contacts throughout CC North America
  • Excellent relationship management and stakeholder networking skills
  • Strong negotiating skills for complex commercial negotiations
  • Team-oriented thinking and working
  • High resilience, self-motivation, sustainability, and implementation strength
  • Comprehensive technology and market understanding in the relevant category environment
  • Ability to define, agree, and develop strategies and business plans
  • Ability to build and develop an opportunity pipeline
  • Confident business English
  • Existing personnel responsibility or passed management experience
  • Collaborative skills to work with the Strategic Sales Alliance team
