Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as a technical Cisco Network Subject Matter Expert and recognized technical thought leader
Apply big-picture thinking to a solution area/category with substantive depth in core technical and solution elements
Bring technical credibility to accounts and present solutions to customers
Provide pre-sales and go-to-market support to strategic accounts
Partner with business leaders to deliver resources and services supporting company objectives and Winning Together values
Provide deep subject matter expertise and complete tactical work
Provide technical marketing, thought leadership, and related support
Define and deliver go-to-market strategy through relevant design documentation and proposals
Engage key accounts, develop credibility, and help build technical solutions
Stay current on technical solutions supporting specific vendors
Engage and work closely with assigned key vendors
Coordinate with Customer Acquisition Engineers to develop Statements of Work for large-scale and complex projects
Create in-depth technical design documentation, Statements of Work, Levels of Effort, and Bills of Materials
Provide internal training for new solution advancement
Embrace and support Computacenter’s mission and core values

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS) or equivalent work experience
5+ years of presales solutioning experience; prior delivery experience is a plus
Expert level certifications such as CCIE-R/S, CCIE or JNCIE and professional level security certifications are a plus
Experience designing and deploying complex architectures
Experience interacting with highly technical customer, vendor, and peer engineers, engineering managers, and C-Level staff
Experience leading whiteboarding and design sessions
Technical presales experience
Legally eligible to work in the United States
SME expertise around discrete technologies such as networks, systems, or cloud
Passion for technology
Proficient presentation and pre-sales skills
Comfortable with public speaking, including conferences
Comfortable leading design discussions
Deep expertise in vendor technologies
In-depth understanding of service lifecycle
Thought leadership
Knowledge of Computacenter US Services Offering
