About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead and manage service and change delivery for an account, group of accounts, or significant service area
  • Lead teams directly and through matrix management
  • Operate an effective governance model to meet service levels and financial targets
  • Support Group Services colleagues to grow the business and drive customer satisfaction through service excellence
  • Ensure direct reports and matrix-managed employees understand their roles and are appropriately engaged, motivated, and led
  • Lead delivery of run and change services
  • Drive continuous improvement in delivery processes and services
  • Objectively manage internal and partner delivery-team performance
  • Assess service-delivery performance, customer-business impact, and improvement actions
  • Identify service-delivery risks, assess commercial implications, and eliminate or avoid risks
  • Lead customer change, including in-life service changes and complex organizational change
  • Apply relevant project-management approaches
  • Identify new ways to add value to customers
  • Support account strategy and present Computacenter as a joined-up team
  • Communicate strategy to delivery functions and partners
  • Deliver customer-facing and internal communications plans
  • Support contract-change development, negotiation, and agreement
  • Manage contract schedules, compliance, and exceptions
  • Manage account or assigned-service finances, forecasting, and costs
  • Support service costing in presales
  • Define and support customer engagement strategy
  • Serve as primary interface for senior customer stakeholders and maintain constructive relationships

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Experienced practitioner in IT Service Management
  • Trained in ITIL, possibly to Expert status
  • Understanding of how IT services fit in a customer’s business and how a service provider can add value
  • Good knowledge and experience of SAP, MS Office and MS Teams
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strategic thinking and tactical execution skills
  • Good knowledge of the IT industry and understanding of IT technologies and products
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable communicating with colleagues in different countries where English is not the first spoken language
  • Good self-organization and time management skills
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple requests simultaneously
  • Ability to build trust, be assertive when required, and show initiative and enthusiasm
  • Resilience and ability to deal with stressful situations
  • Business and financial acumen with strong analytical skills
