About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage global inventory and movement of IT hardware required to service international Computacenter customers, primarily focusing on North America and future worldwide expansion
  • Ensure global warehouse locations maintain optimal IT hardware stocking levels
  • Identify potential inventory shortages using forecasting tools and inventory metrics, and coordinate replenishment
  • Oversee end-to-end ordering from receipt through final arrival and booking
  • Maintain technical equipment and asset-tracking profiles in SAP, ServiceNow, and related systems
  • Prepare forecast data from monthly call-offs and failure rates for stakeholder review and approval
  • Perform daily audits and monitoring of worldwide IT asset stock levels
  • Reconcile inventory transactions, asset movements, and system data using tag and serial-number checks
  • Monitor hardware throughput times across storage locations
  • Identify operational bottlenecks, escalate delays, and report inventory analysis to management
  • Compare hardware failure rates with forecasting models to optimize stock safety thresholds
  • Serve as the operational communication bridge between 3PL partners and international business units
  • Drive information flow regarding process updates, system discrepancies, and logistics escalations
  • Organize and facilitate team and cross-functional project meetings
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives for hardware services, workflows, system transactions, and data interfaces
  • Identify process gaps or system deltas and implement corrective actions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3+ years of progressive professional experience in a Supply Chain, Inventory Control, or IT Asset Management (ITAM) role; 5+ years preferred
  • Direct experience within the IT services, technology hardware, or corporate infrastructure industries highly preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a closely related commercial field, or equivalent practical experience
  • High proficiency with SAP and Service Now
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Excel, including complex formulas, XLOOKUPs, and pivot tables
  • Proficiency with Power BI or MS Access and data visualization
  • Ability to turn complex data into clear, real-time reports
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated with an independent, structured working style
  • Ability to remain resilient, flexible, and organized under pressure or in fast-paced environments
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel as required by the business
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States
