About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work closely with the local management team
- Provide general office administration support for the Livermore, California office
- Provide remote support for other facilities as needed
- Greet visitors and direct them to meetings or hot desks
- Answer phones and communicate messages to the appropriate employee or department
- Maintain the kitchen, supply closet, copy area, and safety equipment
- Coordinate sourcing and purchasing of supplies with the Workplace Experience Manager
- Anticipate needs for meetings and events
- Set up and deactivate building access cards, keys, and passes
- Coordinate building access with property management
- Coordinate and schedule conference rooms and lunches for the management team
- Manage inbound and outbound mail through UPS and USPS
- Notify Livermore office employees of property-management alerts
- Support ad hoc facility projects, indirect procurement contracts, and facility presentations
- Embrace and support Computacenter’s mission and core values
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2+ years of experience in a corporate office; technology industry preferred
- 2+ years of office management experience
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- Experience coordinating large and small events
- Exceptional customer service skills for internal and external customers
- High attention to detail and ability to spot errors and inconsistencies
- Ability to handle interruptions and multitask during high-volume periods
- Expert PowerPoint and Excel skills
- Experience with CRM systems and ERP systems
- SAP experience
- Ability to exercise discretion with confidential visitors or tasks
- Strong organizational, time-management, and follow-up skills
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to take direction from multiple people
- Ability to work effectively and cooperatively on a team
- Ability to interface with different personalities and handle inquiries
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
