About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the primary technical authority within assigned projects
- Mentor and direct Project Engineers, Project Coordinators, and Implementation Specialists
- Act as the senior escalation point for complex design or implementation challenges
- Lead Level of Effort program designs
- Review and create scalable Bills of Materials
- Translate customer needs into actionable designs during sales engagements
- Develop account-specific engineering programs
- Oversee project progress from a technical perspective
- Manage critical escalations and ensure effective implementation of technical solutions
- Create Field Change Orders in response to evolving project conditions
- Review and submit final engineering deliverables for project closure
- Approve vendor invoices against deliverables and scope
- Lead After Action Review meetings
- Finalize and update Required Asset Form documentation
- Collaborate with sales and solution teams to scope and quote opportunities
- Participate in customer meetings and proposal development
- Maintain quality, accurate documentation aligned with standards such as BICSI and TIA/EIA
- Champion process improvements and technical innovation
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of experience in low voltage or ICT infrastructure engineering
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- Demonstrated experience leading or mentoring technical project teams
- Strong understanding of structured cabling systems, network infrastructure, and low voltage technologies
- Proficient in BOM development, field change documentation, and project closeout procedures
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience with construction drawings, CAD, or Revit
- Familiarity with project management software such as MS Project or Smartsheet
- Experience working in a matrix-style project organization
