About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide expert security oversight for projects and operational activities across Endpoint
Review and assess proposed architectures, designs, and configurations for security risks and vulnerabilities
Ensure adherence to security policies, standards, and regulatory requirements
Develop actionable security recommendations for secure technology configuration and deployment
Define security baselines and CIS-based hardening standards for platforms and services
Contribute to security policies, standards, and guidelines
Lead and guide secure configuration implementation across servers, laptops, desktops, and mobile devices
Collaborate with Platforms and Services to integrate security requirements into deployment and configuration processes
Validate secure configurations through reviews and testing
Provide guidance on endpoint protection technologies, including EDR, antivirus, device control, and patch management
Define CIS-based secure configuration standards for operating systems and endpoint applications

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, cybersecurity, Information technology, or a related field
10–15 years of experience working in a Cyber Operations environment as a security lead specialist
Demonstrable experience in relevant technologies and domains
Deep technical understanding of security principles and best practices
Experience securing configurations across Endpoint, Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP), and Network environments
Knowledge of security technologies including EDR, IAM, firewalls, and cloud security controls
Understanding of Windows, Linux, networking protocols, and cloud architectures
Strong understanding of Endpoint security solutions such as Defender, Jampf, and Tanium in large and complex multi-tenant deployments
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Relevant industry certifications are desirable, including Security+, Network+, and cloud security certifications
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong collaboration and influencing skills
