About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, and support SAP BTP/CPI integrations between SAP and external systems
Use iFlows, APIs, mappings, and integration best practices
Document requirements for system configuration
Plan, create, and perform tests for program components and assemblies
Monitor and troubleshoot integrations
Interface SAP ECC with IDOCs and ProxyClasses
Develop and support A2A and B2B integrations

Requirements

What you’ll need

Total experience of 10+ years
SAP PI development experience in 7.5 and/or above
SAP BTP Integration Suite experience
SAP BTP Services and API Management
Agile/Scrum experience
Working experience with JMS Queues, SFTP, HTTP/HTTPS
Integration monitoring and troubleshooting
Ability to read/write SQL, XSLT, XQuery, XPath, Groovy
Experience with EDI EDIFACT and ANSI X12 standards
Experience with cXML and xCBL XML standards
Experience with SuccessFactors integrations
Experience with SAP ECC, interfacing with IDOCs and ProxyClasses
Good understanding of business processes, ideally in the procurement cycle
ITIL management knowledge
Basic knowledge of different systems from user and system configuration/administration perspectives
Ability to document system configuration requirements clearly and unambiguously
Competent use of MS Office applications, including Visio, Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
Understanding of software development principles and methodologies
Logical and analytical problem-solving approach
Capability in at least one programming or scripting language, such as ABAP, VB, C++, PowerShell, Groovy, XSLT, XQuery, or SQL
Knowledge of planning, creating, and performing tests for program components and assemblies
Excellent English language skills
Excellent knowledge and experience of A2A and B2B integration development
Expert use of at least one middleware application and deep understanding of integration methods
