About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead solution architecture and design activities, translating complex business requirements into secure, scalable, and resilient technology solutions
- Ensure designs adhere to architectural principles, security standards, regulatory requirements, strategic objectives, and the technology roadmap
- Provide strategic direction and technical leadership across the Document Intelligence landscape
- Define and govern global target-state architecture, roadmaps, standards, and reusable patterns for Document Intelligence
- Design solutions using OCR, computer vision, machine learning, LLMs, and generative AI with governance, explainability, human oversight, and risk controls
- Lead API-first, event-driven, and microservices architecture for document ingestion, classification, extraction, workflow routing, and transaction processing
- Ensure compliance with security, privacy, regulatory, audit, records management, and AI governance requirements
- Evaluate emerging technologies, define migration strategies, and drive innovation through technology assessments and proofs of concept
- Support delivery teams with solution design, architecture assurance, technical risk management, implementation guidance, and operational readiness
- Partner with business, product, architecture, security, risk, compliance, and delivery stakeholders
- Maintain reference architectures, roadmaps, solution designs, decision records, integration standards, governance frameworks, and risk assessments
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong experience in enterprise architecture, integration, distributed systems, and complex multi-technology environments
- Proven expertise in intelligent document processing, OCR, workflow/BPM, AI/ML, cloud platforms, and API-led integration
- Demonstrated success designing and delivering scalable enterprise solutions using microservices, RESTful APIs, event-driven architectures, and distributed services
- Extensive experience designing and implementing cloud-based applications and business solutions across multiple channels
- Strong technical leadership across large-scale programmes
- Excellent stakeholder management, consulting, communication, and influencing skills
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business-focused outcomes
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Track record of guiding architecture through delivery and operational adoption
