About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop, maintain, and execute automated regression test suites for existing production web applications
Build and maintain contract tests for interfaces and APIs supporting the shared application platform
Integrate automated regression and contract testing into Continuous Integration pipelines
Design and execute tests accounting for legacy application behavior during modernization
Produce and document regression and integration test results for software releases and phase-exit reviews
Collaborate with development and integration teams to identify defects, validate fixes, and maintain application quality
Participate in two-week sprints with a customer demonstration each sprint

Requirements

What you’ll need

4+ years of experience in test automation for web applications and APIs
Hands-on experience developing and maintaining automated regression test suites
Experience with API contract testing
Ability to design and execute tests around legacy application behavior
Experience incorporating automated testing into CI workflows
Experience with Playwright or Cypress for automated testing preferred
Familiarity with Pact for contract testing preferred
Experience with Java and JavaScript testing frameworks preferred
Active Secret security clearance preferred
U.S. citizenship required
Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a security clearance for the DoW customer
Ability to work full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday
Ability to work core hours of 9:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. Eastern
Ability to work at Government facilities in Northern Virginia and Maryland as required
Willingness to travel 0–10% within the Washington, DC metropolitan area
