About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Maintain the API gateway integration between a Java Spring Boot application and a Pega-based status tracker
Troubleshoot and resolve defects across Java and Pega integration boundaries
Identify, diagnose, and resolve application defects to ensure continued system functionality
Apply software patches and updates according to the customer's release calendar
Maintain accurate and current operational runbooks for application sustainment
Support a mission-critical application modernization program for a Department of War customer
Integrate and sustain Java Spring Boot applications with a Pega-based status tracking system
Participate in two-week sprints and customer demonstrations each sprint

Requirements

What you’ll need

4+ years of experience developing and supporting Java applications using Spring Boot and REST integrations
Hands-on experience integrating with or developing applications on the Pega platform
Experience with PostgreSQL preferred
Familiarity with Amazon ECS/Fargate preferred
Experience working within AWS GovCloud environments preferred
Active Secret security clearance preferred
U.S. citizenship required
Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a security clearance
Full-time availability, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday
Ability to work core hours of 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Eastern
Ability to work at Government facilities in Northern Virginia and Maryland as required
Government-furnished equipment used for all access to Government environments
