About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support a mission-critical application modernization program for a Department of War customer
Maintain and enhance React applications
Troubleshoot and resolve front-end defects in two React applications
Support a public-facing single-page application backed by Redis
Support embedded-adapter integration for legacy functionality within the modern platform interface
Maintain application stability and functionality
Participate in two-week Agile sprints and customer demonstrations
Follow established release processes for reliable application updates
Travel 0–10% within the Washington, DC metropolitan area

Requirements

What you’ll need

3+ years of front-end software engineering experience using React
Experience working within formal software release processes
Experience working with Java back-end applications (preferred)
Familiarity with accessibility testing (preferred)
Active Secret security clearance (strongly preferred)
U.S. citizenship required
Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a DoW security clearance
Full-time availability, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with core hours from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Eastern
Must work from approved remote locations within the United States and at Concept Solutions' Reston, VA headquarters or government facilities in Northern Virginia and Maryland as required
