About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide direct and indirect patient care under the guidance and direction of the Registered Nurse or Paramedic

  • Manage patient support, environmental, and supply functions as part of the patient care team

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school or equivalent (GED)
  • National Registry Emergency Medical Technician-Basic (EMT-B), National Registry Emergency Medical Technician-Advanced (EMT-A), or Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA)
  • Basic Life Support - American Heart Association
  • One year of prior experience as an EMT or LNA
  • Evidence of experience working effectively and positively with patients, care providers, and the multi-disciplinary team
  • Evidence of the ability to perform as a member of a team
  • Ability to meet the stated physical demands and work-environment requirements
