About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Define, communicate, and execute Conexa’s data vision, aligned with the company’s strategic objectives
- Manage and develop the Data Analytics, Data Engineering, and Data Science teams
- Ensure data governance by promoting information quality, consistency, security, and accessibility
- Structure and evolve the organization’s data architecture, ensuring scalability and efficiency
- Drive a data-driven culture across the company by bringing together business, technology, and product teams
- Act as a strategic partner to the business, especially Product, Technology, and Healthcare, supporting critical decisions with data-driven insights
- Lead innovation projects involving generative AI, machine learning, and advanced analytics for digital healthcare
- Represent the Data function with senior leadership, ensuring clarity regarding results, roadmap, and priorities
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven experience in managerial positions within Data, including Data Analytics, Data Engineering, and/or Data Science
- Strong experience in people management, developing middle management (coordinators), and building high-performing teams
- Advanced knowledge of data architecture, BI, governance, pipelines, and complex integrations
- Ability to translate business needs into tangible data solutions with measurable impact
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across all organizational levels, from operations to the C-suite
- Experience with agile methodologies applied to data projects
- Availability to work remotely, with on-site attendance once every two weeks in São Paulo or Rio de Janeiro
- Experience in healthtechs, healthcare companies, or regulated industries
- Track record of working in rapidly scaling environments, such as startups, scale-ups, or technology companies
- Knowledge of healthcare data regulations, such as Brazil’s LGPD and HIPAA
- Previous experience acting as a strategic partner in M&A processes and systems integration
- Hands-on experience with generative AI and applied Data Science
