About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee the functional operation of CLC’s Lottery Gaming System
- Lead oversight of gaming system vendors and collaboration on system operations, changes, and enhancements
- Oversee acceptance testing and change management for the lottery gaming system, retailer terminals, iLottery, Second Chance Platform, ICS, and related systems
- Ensure testing meets CLC, industry, and regulatory standards and supports error-free software releases
- Develop test plans; execute, document, and remediate issues; perform trend analysis; manage change orders and ticketing systems
- Prepare reports on vendor failover testing, capability assessments, contractual compliance, and vendor performance
- Develop or contribute to specifications, release notes, trackers, and operational documentation
- Train staff on lottery gaming, retailer network, ICS, and other systems and documentation practices
- Create and deliver presentations to internal teams and external vendors
- Supervise assigned staff, including ICS team members, Project Manager, and QA staff
- Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and take corrective action where appropriate
- Liaise with the regulatory agency, Multistate Lottery Association, and other external entities
- Prepare documentation for oversight submissions
- Gather, prepare, and process information for departments across the organization
- Manage assigned gaming system operations projects and complete administrative duties
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience (minimum three years), preferably within the Lottery or Gaming industry
- Minimum of one year of supervisory or project lead experience, including assigning work, monitoring performance, providing feedback, continuous training, and corrective action
- Prior lottery experience highly desirable
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with lottery systems, ticketing systems, software testing, and other gaming-related systems
- Hands-on User Acceptance Testing (UAT) experience required
- Knowledge of software development processes and Change Order Management, from issue identification through resolution
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work cooperatively with various departments and stakeholders
- High attention to detail and strong documentation practices
- Must submit a CLC application, cover letter, and resume
- Offer of employment subject to Department of Consumer Protection licensing requirements and re-employment and SEBAC rules
