About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, develop, and optimize Power BI reports, dashboards, and paginated reports
  • Build and maintain semantic models, DAX measures, relationships, hierarchies, and calculation groups
  • Develop reports using Microsoft Fabric, OneLake, lakehouses, warehouses, and Direct Lake datasets
  • Implement row-level and object-level security aligned with Entra ID and workspace governance
  • Establish certified datasets, reusable semantic models, and reporting standards
  • Optimize report performance, data refreshes, and capacity utilization
  • Apply sensitivity labels and manage governed report distribution
  • Integrate reporting solutions with Microsoft 365 and Teams as needed
  • Support deployment pipelines, source control, and lifecycle management
  • Maintain report documentation, data dictionaries, and user enablement materials

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 6–8+ years of application development experience, including hands-on BI analytics and Power BI development
  • Strong proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, DAX, and semantic modeling
  • Experience with Power Query, dimensional modeling, and data transformation
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, OneLake, and Direct Lake
  • Knowledge of row-level security, object-level security, and workspace governance
  • Experience with deployment pipelines, performance optimization, and certified datasets
  • Strong data visualization, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
