About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Handle general accounting responsibilities, primarily expense and balance sheet accounts
Maintain full ownership of the accuracy and logical consistency of assigned tasks while complying with internal controls
Participate in monthly and quarterly close activities, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analyses
Support lease accounting schedules under ASC 842, including expirations, renewals, and period-end adjustments
Maintain and update corporate debt schedules for debt instruments and credit facilities, including interest accruals and fee calculations
Oversee or support the fixed asset lifecycle, including capitalization reviews, depreciation tracking, roll-forwards, and retirement processing
Prepare disclosure schedules for quarterly and annual financial filings
Partner with FP&A, Tax, Internal Audit, and Legal to streamline financial workflows and solve operational challenges
Participate in departmental projects and initiatives
Perform other assigned or requested duties

Requirements

What you’ll need

2+ years of accounting experience under US GAAP
1+ years of cloud-based accounting software experience (Oracle Fusion is a plus)
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP and pivot tables
Deep understanding and practical application of accrual accounting principles under US GAAP
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with ability to identify trends, anomalies, and root causes
Detail-oriented and highly organized with strong project management skills
Proficient in time management, task prioritization, and meeting tight deadlines
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to articulate financial concepts clearly to financial and non-financial stakeholders
BA or BS in accounting or related discipline required
CPA preferred
Big 4 experience preferred
Must be eligible to work in the U.S.; sponsorship is not available
Must be able to sit for long periods and handle long periods of screen time
