About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide support to the restoration inspection group for a PCWP Capital Improvement Program
  • Ensure timely and accurate input of data, document production, and reporting
  • Review and analyze information from restoration inspectors, restoration managers, and the City of Chicago project coordination office
  • Retrieve and manage archived historical documentation necessary for project assessment and execution
  • Assemble and manage completed project documentation for construction management and operations teams
  • Enter data for project status tracking in Microsoft Excel and Primavera Version 6
  • Prepare formal electronic and non-electronic correspondence with internal and external entities
  • Coordinate project files and prepare project progress reports
  • Maintain files and provide general assistance to PCWP technical delivery teams
  • Work independently on assigned activities and responsibilities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, or Engineering is required
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in Construction, Engineering, or related field preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft tools, including MS Word, Outlook, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent teamwork, coordination and collaboration skills
  • Ability to respond proactively in a high-paced environment and willingness to adjust and respond effectively to changes
  • Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload, problem-solve, and meet deadlines set by the program leadership team
