About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assist in coordinating all phases of electric utility construction projects
  • Support the installation and replacement of underground and overhead electric cables and poles
  • Help manage transformer installations and electric line maintenance activities
  • Track project schedules, budgets, and deliverables
  • Facilitate communication between engineers, contractors, and field crews
  • Ensure documentation is up to date and aligned with regulatory and safety standards
  • Conduct site visits and assist in resolving on-site issues

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working within Puerto Rico’s electric infrastructure, including aerial and underground systems
  • Must be currently residing in Puerto Rico
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Familiarity with project management software and construction documentation
  • Experience supporting projects for PREPA or LUMA Energy
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
