About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support post-closing legal integration, including contract migration, training, notices, consents or assignments, records migration, template collection and revision, and integration task tracking
  • Independently draft, review, redline, and negotiate routine and moderately complex commercial agreements
  • Apply and maintain contract templates, approved positions, and escalation guidelines in the CLM system
  • Identify deviations and contractual risks involving scope, payment, indemnity, insurance, liability, intellectual property, confidentiality, and termination
  • Summarize contract terms, explain standard terms and procedures, answer routine contract questions, and coordinate with sales, procurement, finance, and other teams
  • Coordinate internal responses to subpoenas, third-party records requests, and other legal process
  • Work with in-house and outside counsel on claims, litigation, and discovery responses
  • Administer legal holds, including notices, acknowledgment tracking, custodian communications, reminders, and documentation of updates and releases
  • Coordinate preservation, collection, processing, and secure transfer of electronically stored information and other records
  • Maintain records of preservation instructions, custodians, collections, and transfers, and track outstanding actions
  • Manage vehicle fleet and real estate portfolio assets, including commitments, expirations, authorized users, lease renewals, opt-out deadlines, and insurance requirements
  • Support Legal team members and other company employees on assigned tasks
  • If experienced in employment-based immigration, coordinate documentation, case status, deadlines, and employee communications with HR, immigration counsel, and stakeholders

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • At least 5 years of relevant paralegal or equivalent legal experience, with the depth of responsibility typically gained through 5–8 years of progressively responsible work
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience drafting, reviewing, redlining, and negotiating commercial agreements
  • Practical experience coordinating subpoena or records-request responses, administering legal holds, and coordinating preservation and collection of electronically stored information
  • Bachelor's degree, paralegal certificate, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
  • Strong business judgment and ability to distinguish routine issues from matters requiring additional facts, attorney review, or escalation
  • Clear, concise writing and strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to explain contract provisions and work effectively with business partners, interdepartmentally, and with outside counsel
  • Ability to prioritize competing deadlines, maintain accurate records, protect confidential information, and follow through with limited day-to-day direction
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Microsoft products, including redlining and document comparison
  • Comfort using contract repositories, electronic signature tools, and document collection or review platforms
  • Comfortable with the use of new technologies and software, including generative and agentic artificial intelligence
  • Preferred: In-house legal experience, particularly in professional services, AI, engineering, or project management
  • Preferred: Experience using Ironclad or a comparable CLM platform
  • Preferred: Experience supporting employment-based immigration matters and coordinating with immigration counsel
