About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide scheduling and technical schedule management at designated construction project sites.
  • Oversee total scheduling effort to ensure projects are executed in accordance with schedule.
  • Interface professionally with superintendents or foremen, trades, project managers, client representatives, A/E representatives, and other contractors.
  • Communicate with the Director of Scheduling, Project Manager, Superintendent, field staff, and office staff.
  • Establish rapport with field superintendents and management teams.
  • Support project teams through strong leadership.
  • Provide regular schedule updates, including bi-monthly schedule updates.
  • Oversee planning, coordination, and supervision of scheduling.
  • Ensure designated jobs remain aware of schedule status.
  • Ensure project teams plan work and anticipate procurement needs.
  • Assist project teams with Time Impact Analysis.
  • Report to the Director of Scheduling Services.
  • Supervise others.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A bachelor's degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or related degree.
  • 5+ years of similar construction scheduling experience or equivalent combination of training and/or related experience.
  • Thorough use and knowledge of diversified schedule engineering systems, principles and practices, especially Primavera P6 software.
  • Experience with Primavera, Acumen and Microsoft Office.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of current scheduling industry standards and practices.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Strong initiative and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to multi-task and self-prioritize.
  • Motivated and driven.
  • Ability to work in a team environment with a primary focus on collaboration.
  • Excellent written and verbal presentation skills.
