About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the Direct Purchase Regional Lead in delivering regional, package and departmental requirements.
  • Obtain, distribute and report critical project information to project stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors and consultants.
  • Track purchase, award, cost, warranty and close-out status.
  • Manage package documentation, including design updates, RFIs and submittals.
  • Create and maintain project submittal and delivery logs.
  • Obtain vendor delivery updates and communicate potential risks and delays.
  • Communicate long-lead item impacts and expedite submittal reviews when required.
  • Verify delivered materials and equipment against submitted materials on-site.
  • Generate agendas, track meeting commitments and action items, and distribute meeting minutes.
  • Report on submittals, RFIs and critical project issues.
  • Interface with the client, design team and MEP regional lead throughout the project.
  • Collaborate with project team members to establish and implement project goals.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management or Architecture preferred.
  • 2-4 years construction management experience.
  • Basic understanding of construction including schedule logic, budgets and project documentation.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency is required.
  • OSHA 10 Hour and OSHA 30 preferred.
  • Additional experience may include cost management software (Timberline, Sage preferred), scheduling software (Primavera P6 preferred) and construction management software (Procore preferred).
  • Prior internship experience is a plus.
