About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Coordinate end-to-end basing logistics execution across transportation providers, warehousing, fulfillment, damage prevention, and customer management
  • Translate planning signals into actionable operating plans
  • Monitor execution against service and cost targets and identify risks and constraints
  • Drive same-day/week recovery actions with functional owners
  • Prepare agendas, pre-reads, action logs, KPI packs, and scorecards for S&OE, S&OP, Distributor Operations, Logistics Council, transportation provider, and site/warehouse reviews
  • Lead issue triage, quantify customer service impact, route actions, and drive issues through closure
  • Build and maintain performance reporting for service, fill rate, on-time delivery, inventory health, damages, claims, transportation cost, transit time, velocity, and working capital
  • Validate data, investigate anomalies, and partner with WMS/TMS/ERP process owners, carriers, and vendors to address root causes
  • Maintain operations playbooks, standard work, escalation paths, recovery plans, capacity assumptions, carrier routing guides, hand-offs, SOPs, process maps, and best-practice documentation
  • Support deployment of new routines and changes by preparing materials, coordinating communications, and tracking adoption
  • Coordinate across Logistics, Customer Management, Supply Chain Planning, Warehouse Operations, Procurement, Finance, IT, carriers, and 3PLs
  • Develop and execute daily and weekly ship plans aligned to service and volume targets
  • Coordinate Planning, Transportation, Sales, and Distributors to ensure plan alignment and execution
  • Communicate shipment plans and drive distributor commitment to appointments and volume
  • Own execution from OBD creation through delivery and proactively resolve constraints
  • Manage capacity, prioritize orders, address execution risks, and monitor ship-plan adherence, service levels, and transportation execution

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain action logs, and drive closure across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced operating environment
  • Proficient in spreadsheets and data analysis
  • Comfortable working with outputs from ERP/WMS/TMS and shipment visibility tools to build KPI reporting and insights
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to translate data into clear narratives, facilitate operating routines, and escalate risks with recommended actions
  • Ability to sit/stand for extended periods and work on a computer
  • Occasional lifting may be required
  • Field/onsite visits, warehouse/transportation facility walk-throughs, or audit support may be required
  • Travel as needed
