About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support end-to-end basing logistics planning and execution across replenishment, warehousing, fulfillment, damage prevention, and customer management
- Coordinate daily, weekly, and monthly logistics plans and operating schedules
- Monitor execution against plan, identify constraints and gaps, and drive recovery actions
- Prepare agendas, pre-reads, action logs, KPI packs, and scorecards for S&OE, S&OP, Distributor Operations, Logistics Council, and site reviews
- Lead issue triage, quantify customer/service impact, route actions, and drive issues through closure
- Build and maintain reporting on service, fill rate, delivery, inventory, damages, claims, transportation cost, transit time, velocity, and working capital
- Validate data, investigate anomalies, and partner with WMS/TMS/ERP owners, carriers, and vendors on root causes
- Maintain operations playbooks, standard work, escalation paths, recovery plans, routing guides, and process documentation
- Coordinate across Logistics, Customer Management, Supply Chain Planning, Warehouse Operations, Procurement, Finance, IT, carriers, and 3PLs
- Lead ocean network planning, execution, performance management, exception recovery, and optimization
- Analyze ocean transportation costs, transit reliability, container velocity, dwell time, service, claims/damages, and working capital
- Drive continuous improvement, root cause analysis, corrective actions, risk management, contingency planning, budgeting, and forecasting
- Develop executive-ready insights and recommendations and lead cross-functional ocean network projects
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain action logs, and drive closure across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced operating environment
- Proficient in data analysis and interpretation
- Comfortable working with outputs from ERP/WMS/TMS and shipment visibility tools to build KPI reporting and insights
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to translate data into clear narratives, facilitate operating routines, and escalate risks with recommended actions
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required, including the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written
- Experience coordinating transportation planning/execution and/or carrier performance management preferred
- Working knowledge of end-to-end supply chain processes preferred
- Exposure to S&OP/S&OE operating models and/or distributor operations forums preferred
- Experience with BI tools such as Power BI/Tableau and structured problem-solving is a plus
- Ability to sit/stand for extended periods and work on a computer
- Occasional lifting may be required
- Field/onsite visits, warehouse/transportation facility walk-throughs, or audit support may be required
- Travel as needed
