About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Leads the development and execution of the analytics agenda across Constellation Brands Beer Division
- Provides high-level strategic thinking on complicated and ambiguous projects addressing critical company challenges
- Delivers strategic analyses and storylines connecting consumer behavior with marketplace trends
- Partners with Beer Division Leadership Teams to connect priorities and initiatives to strategic projects
- Leads cross-functional teams delivering customized, forward-focused, integrated analytical capabilities
- Delivers clear, concise, actionable recommendations for executives and strategic decision-making
- Manages external vendors and elevates partner performance and impact
- Coaches and develops internal employees and external partners
- Reports directly to the Sr Director of Beer Analytics
- Leverages consumer, industry, and performance data to develop strategic storylines for executive communications
- Identifies next-generation analytic capabilities, develops roadmaps, and guides internal and external resources
Requirements
What you’ll need- 10+ years of experience in an analytic position, preferably in the Alcohol Industry or Consumer Packaged Goods
- Deep understanding of strategic frameworks and analytic techniques
- Proactive solving of complex issues that are ambiguously defined with incomplete information
- Strong understanding of drivers of marketplace trends, including expertise with syndicated data to perform quantitative analysis of scanner, panel, and depletions data
- Expertise in translating results from advanced analytic modeling and analyses into insights and actionable recommendations
- Prioritizes work to balance rigor and effectiveness of the team
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including sharing ideas and information across diverse audiences, and producing high-quality deliverables to drive business decisions
- High degree of critical thinking and flexibility
- Bachelor’s degree and proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
- MBA Preferred
- Passionate for driving insights and applying to the fast-moving alcohol industry
- Must be able to work in an office environment primarily and periodically in a warehouse environment with variable temperatures and lighting
- Should be able to lift 40 lbs. on occasion
- Travel up to 15%
