About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the Beer Division internal communications strategy and program execution
- Develop and execute internal communications programs explaining business plans, strategy, and employee roles
- Create approaches that foster an inclusive and positive culture and strengthen employee engagement
- Establish processes to measure communications impact and continuously improve the program
- Build collaborative relationships with internal partners across divisions and communications teams in Rochester, Chicago, and Mexico
- Coach and advise leaders to strengthen their effectiveness as communicators
- Advise HR, Marketing, Sales, and Legal on division-wide communications, organizational restructures, and initiative rollouts
- Manage outside agencies and partners to deliver strategic communications programs on time and on budget
- Handle confidential and proprietary information ethically and with integrity
- Prioritize multiple initiatives and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, journalism, or a related field
- Five to seven years of experience in corporate communications or a related function
- Superior writing, editing, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong leadership skills, executive presence, and ability to influence without authority
- Ability to interact effectively with leaders at all levels and serve as a strategic advisor and coach
- Strong organizational, planning, project, and time management skills
- High degree of business and financial acumen
- Ability to work independently, manage change, and develop measurable communication solutions tied to business objectives
- Preferred: Master's degree in communications or public relations
- Preferred: Beverage alcohol or consumer packaged goods industry experience
- Preferred: Experience with video, digital, and emerging communication tactics
- Preferred: Proven project management experience
