About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Ensure compliance with legal and environmental obligations applicable to the Company’s developments;
- Prepare and monitor schedules for tree removal and compensatory planting, including managing the required documentation, monitoring variances between planned and actual progress, and preparing action plans to ensure deadlines are met;
- Manage activities related to tree management, ensuring that the required authorizations are obtained and environmental conditions are fulfilled;
- Manage environmental consultancies responsible for studies, monitoring, and processes related to contaminated sites;
- Coordinate and monitor CRP (Certificate of Rehabilitation for Intended Use), CRD (Certificate of Reuse of Areas Declared Contaminated), Rehabilitation Terms, and other documents required by the relevant authorities;
- Manage the approval of drainage projects with the responsible public authorities;
- Lead the processes required to obtain Certificates of Occupancy (Habite-se) for the developments;
- Conduct technical site visits to monitor critical construction stages related to environmental and legal requirements;
- Present the environmental and legal requirements for the developments to the teams responsible for construction execution, providing guidance on risks, restrictions, and regulatory obligations;
- Prepare and monitor the department’s budget for each development, monitoring variances between projected and actual amounts and proposing corrective actions;
- Provide technical and documentary support to the teams responsible for post-handover activities;
- Coordinate and participate in strategic meetings with public authorities, utility concessionaires, consultancies, and other stakeholders;
- Monitor environmental indicators, deadlines, and conditions, ensuring the developments’ compliance with applicable legislation.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering or Architecture;
- Availability to work in a hybrid arrangement in the Central São Paulo, São Paulo area;
- Knowledge of or coursework in Urban Planning and Environmental Legislation;
- Knowledge of or coursework in Contaminated Sites Management;
- Knowledge of environmental licensing and regularization processes;
