About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Prepare low- and medium-complexity Bid Comparison Sheets (BCSs), supporting construction project procurement processes.
- Meet construction project procurement needs by preparing Bid Comparison Sheets (BCSs), conducting quantity takeoffs based on project designs, and defining scopes of work.
- Create material and service requisitions in SAP in accordance with internal procedures.
- Support materials planning and scheduling, helping ensure that construction sites are supplied in line with established schedules.
- Analyze quantity variances, identifying inconsistencies and supporting the definition of corrective actions.
- Analyze material receipts and create requisitions according to project needs.
- Monitor supply schedules, supporting the timely completion of construction projects.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience in materials planning and scheduling.
- Knowledge of SAP for creating material and service requisitions.
- Intermediate Excel skills for preparing tracking tools and reports.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD for reading and interpreting project designs.
- Experience in the construction industry is a plus.
