About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Control and review budgets for construction projects and developments, ensuring the reliability of financial information
- Analyze planned versus actual results, identifying, explaining, and monitoring cost variances
- Develop and update cost trends and financial projections
- Monitor the physical progress of construction projects, assessing early and delayed activities and their financial impacts
- Ensure the proper structuring and management of costs in systems such as SAP and Gescorp GO
- Analyze accounting entries, reclassifications, and expense allocations to ensure the quality of financial information
- Control projected project costs, advances, and financial commitments through project completion
- Prepare and analyze KPIs and management reports to support decision-making
- Participate in defining and locking in the initial budgets for developments
- Support cost governance by proposing improvements to control structures and budget detail
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Experience with construction sites, budgeting, or physical and financial planning
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Knowledge of physical and financial construction project controls is a plus
- SAP and Power BI experience preferred
- Availability for periodic visits to construction sites in the region
- Based in São Paulo, SP, or the metropolitan area
