About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Participate in all stages of the project lifecycle, from drafting the land acquisition agreement through development registration and providing legal support until project delivery
Draft and review legal instruments for land acquisition, including purchase and sale agreements, exchange agreements, assignments, and amendments
Monitor and analyze legal opinions related to property acquisitions (Due Diligence)
Support the analysis of legal risks and the development of viable alternatives to enable project launches
Handle real estate regularization matters, including registration corrections, INCRA clearance, CAR cancellation, and municipal property tax (IPTU) registration and regularization
Draft and oversee the execution of public deeds and registration procedures with Real Estate Registry Offices
Structure and file instruments for real estate development registration
Structure contracts, legal opinions, and formal communications in an organized and strategic manner
Maintain technical communication with external law firms, registry offices, public authorities, and internal departments

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Law
Availability to work in a hybrid arrangement in Goiânia, Goiás
Active membership in the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB)
Experience drafting contracts and conducting negotiations
Knowledge of Law No. 4,591/64 (Real Estate Development Law) and Law No. 6,015/73 (Public Records Law) is a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
Previous experience in real estate law, preferably with a real estate developer, construction company, or law firm specializing in the area, is a plus
Experience with land acquisition and chain-of-title analysis is a plus
Familiarity with real estate development registration and registration procedures is a plus
