About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Plan, direct, and coordinate all activities related to software development and data integrations between various systems
Manage teams delivering software and data integration products
Ensure products meet business requirements, delivery schedules, and expected quality standards
Hire, develop, lead, and train development resources
Establish and enforce development department tools, techniques, principles, and practices
Translate business requirements into functional software
Foster internal partnerships with Business Analysts, IT Infrastructure, Product Management, Software Quality Assurance, and business units
Support, troubleshoot, and repair software issues in a timely manner
Provide business, data, application, and technology consulting during pre-feasibility and feasibility discussions
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
Minimum 4 years of supervisory experience leading development efforts in software development or related position
Experience managing medium and large project/development teams
Experience in all aspects of Software Development Life Cycle, including architecting solutions, designing applications, coding, unit testing, and implementing using a variety of tools and technologies
Must be able to successfully pass National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) background investigation
Ability to work flexible and/or extended hours, if needed, to meet the job requirements
Employees must provide their own reliable internet if working a remote/hybrid position
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
