About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead and direct all Health Information Exchange (HIE) billing activities
  • Prepare billing and create procedures
  • Validate and audit contracts
  • Provide staff training
  • Manage contract reporting, quality assurance, and billing activities
  • Gather, review, and analyze financial and business data using data analytics tools
  • Review contracts, Statements of Work, invoices, and other documents for consistency and accuracy
  • Conduct meetings and collaborate with accounts receivable, business development, and cross-functional teams
  • Identify opportunities for financial and business process improvement and modeling
  • Ensure company activities adhere to legal guidelines and policies
  • Strategize, implement, and oversee processes for increased productivity and growth
  • Identify, prioritize, communicate, and resolve critical issues and risks
  • Produce and analyze monthly customer, financial, and other metric reports
  • Manage documentation for projects, processes, and operations
  • Provide analytical, forecasting, reporting, and project support to Finance, Contracts, Customer Service, Business Development, and Information Technology teams
  • Perform internal audits on financial activities
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
  • Report to the Director, Business Development Operations
  • Work closely with Finance, Contract, Legal, Customer Service, Business Development, and Information Technology teams

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum of 6+ years of business management experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Administration, Accounting, Finance or Marketing required; equivalent directly related work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
  • Experience in healthcare and/or information technology preferred
  • Excellent organization, attention to detail, time management, prioritization, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Discretion with highly sensitive and confidential information
  • Strong process orientation, troubleshooting skills, and commitment to quality
  • Ability to establish and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees and stakeholders at all levels
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Ability to lead meetings attended by senior executives, manage expectations, and drive consensus
  • Creative thinking and ability to implement realistic solutions
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing demands and priorities
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
  • Solid understanding of health information technology, health information exchange, and electronic health records preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Project, and Visio preferred
  • Working knowledge of CRM tools preferred, including Microsoft Dynamics-365, Infusionsoft, and NetSuite
  • Hands-on experience with different databases and complex IT systems
  • Ability to work independently and understand both strategic and detailed task-level perspectives
  • Ability to periodically drive to clients, conferences, and/or events; limited travel may be required
  • Ability to handle sensitive information including PHI, PII, and financial information in compliance with applicable laws and policies
